The only other Cayman Islands athlete to win an individual medal earlier in the Caribbean track and field showcase was Lacee Barnes (gold – U20 Girls discus; silver – U20 Girls shot put). Medals were also won by the U17 Boys 4x100m relay team of Silver Hurlston, Neil Brown, Errol Smith, and Derrick Francis (silver), and the U17 Girls 4x100m relay team of Tori-Ann Gonez, Ashantae Graham, Jaden Francis, and Danneika Lyn (bronze).

Jaheim Morgan finished fifth with 39.08m in the U17 Boys discus. Jamaica’s Zackery Dillon won comfortably with 57.15m. Morgan was fourth in the shot put on Sunday with a top throw of 13.60m.
