Message from the Editor:
You might have noticed that there’s been little to no activity on Cayman Sports Buzz in recent weeks. It was not that the buzzing stopped but that it went behind the scenes. Sometimes we must do what is necessary to ensure longevity. The break was never meant to be a protracted one but instead was a classic case of stepping back from the forest to see the trees.
The following message was posted on the Cayman Sports Buzz social media feeds on 17 May, 2018.
After that message was posted, I received quite a bit of feedback, mostly positive. Initially, although I knew the reasons that necessitated the hiatus, I felt as though I was betraying the sporting community by stepping aside. However, with some time on the sidelines so to speak, it has become clearer that the very reasons that triggered the birth of Cayman Sports Buzz in 2016 are still relevant today. So, I’ve decided to embrace the words of legendary basketball coach John Wooden when he said “do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”
That being said, you can expect to see some fresh content coming to Cayman Sports Buzz in the coming days, along with new features being rolled out.
Thank you for your continued support.
Ben
