BnP tops Cayman Auto in OT
- Updated: 3 May 2018
The battle for semi-finals berths in the Cayman Islands Flag Football Association (CIFFA) Burger King Co-Ed League officially started last Friday, 27 April, at Ed Bush Sports Complex with an exciting overtime finish.
An extra period was required for BnP to prevail 19-13 over Cayman Auto. Baron Solomon scored the touchdown and the conversion point scored by Peter Whittaker sealed the win.
The evening’s other games were not as competitive. Deloitte gave Tribe Tattoo no chance to score and blanked them 27-0. Popeye’s defeated Bogles Insurance 25-0, while Valumed only gave Kimpton Seafire one chance to score a touchdown and ended the game with a 32-6 win.
Burger Shack still leads the East with an undefeated record while Greenhouse dominates the West, also with a perfect record.
Playoff seeding hangs in the balance when the final set of regular season games kick-off Friday night (4 May) at Ed Bush Sports Complex. The semi-finals are set for 11 May.
