BREAKING: Cayman to send 30 athletes to CARIFTA Games

The Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA) on Tuesday, 13 March, announced its largest ever team of 30 athletes for the 2018 Flow CARIFTA Games in the Bahamas from 30 March – 2 April.
Set to make the trip are former medalists Lacee Barnes, Daneliz Thomas, and Rasheem Brown. Joining them will be several athletes making their CARIFTA Games debuts.
Another medalist from last year, middle-distance specialist Dominic Dyer, will not make the trip to recover from an injury.
Sponsoring the team is the Ministry of Education, Youth, Sports, Agriculture & Lands, as well as Caribbean Utilities Company Limited.
