Flowers Sea Swim registration open
- Updated: 3 January 2018
Swimmers interested in being part of one of the largest participation events on the Cayman Islands sporting calendar can now sign up for the 2018 Flowers Sea Swim.
The marquee one-mile event along Seven Mile Beach is scheduled for Saturday, 16 June. Upwards of a thousand swimmers including local and visiting Olympians are expected to join in for the 26th annual event, as in years past. American Jordan Wilimovsky won last year’s race in a record time of 16 minutes 22 seconds.
Stronger distance swimmers will return to the water for the 5K and 10K swims on 18 June.
All registration proceeds will benefit the both Special Olympics Cayman Islands and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
