Tajh Lewis topped the podium for Southeastern Louisiana in the 800m at the LSU Bayou Bengal meet on 2 February.
The former Clifton Hunter High School student finished in 1:57.74 to take the win ahead of Lions teammate Jonathan Respress (1:58.76).
Lewis’ time was behind his national mark of 1:54.65 set in 2015. He’s expected back on the track at the Samford Open in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend.
In his previous meet, Lewis was second in the 600m at the McNeese Indoor Invite II on 26 January.
