Predators and Vipers top Flag Football standings
- Updated: 12 August 2016
Island Heritage Predators and HSM Vipers sit atop the standings of the Cayman Islands Flag Football Association’s Men’s and Women’s Premier Leagues going into this weekend’s round of matches.
In the Men’s Premier League, Island Heritage Predators hold a one-point edge over BK Panthers, with Maples in striking distance in third place. They have all played seven matches. (See standings below).
Predators have a chance to put some distance between them and the field when they face Maples at Ed Bush Field in West Bay on Saturday. Panthers will play 5th placed Kensington Hellcats on Monday evening at the Annex in George Town. Maples Knights will look to climb the table when they play bottom-of-the-table PWC on Saturday at the Ed Bush Field. (See schedule below).
Meantime, sporting a record of seven wins and one loss, HSM Vipers enjoy a five-point lead atop the Women’s Premier League table with 14 points. Currently sitting second is Guinness Lady Sharks with nine points, although they have played two fewer games. (See standings below).
This weekend, Vipers will look to stretch their lead when they face fourth-placed Anytime Fitness Wolverines on Saturday. However, the Lady Sharks will seek to make up ground when they face IMS Killa B’zzz, also on Saturday. Lady Sharks are back in action on Monday when they face third-placed Maples Lynx at the Annex. (See schedule below).
