Introducing Sister Islands Swim Club

Executive Committee Members of SISC.

The Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association (CIASA) on 5 July 2019 announced its latest member.

“We are pleased to announce that the Sister Islands Swim Club (“SISC”) is now a fully registered swim club. Congratulations to the club and its current and future members! We look forward to working with you for the betterment of swimming and the other aquatic sports in the Sister Islands,” a circular from the national federation stated.

The local swimming community is dominated by clubs on Grand Cayman – Stingray Swim Club, Camana Bay Aquatic Club, and Seven Mile Swimmers. With the new aquatic facility on Cayman Brac, it is envisaged that this would encourage the growth of the sport on the sister island.

CIASA is the national governing body of aquatic sports (Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Artistic Swimming, Water Polo, Diving and High Diving) in the Cayman Islands.

CaymanSportsBuzz.com will have more on this development in a subsequent story.
