Netballers get back on the court

Play resumes Saturday, 14 January, in the Cayman Islands Netball Association’s Senior Women’s Open and the Girls’ Under-12 leagues.

First up are the juniors with a slate of three matches at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex starting at 4:00 p.m.

Breakers play Blazing Divas ‘A’, while Rising Stars U12 come up against Golden Strikers ‘B’. The match between Golden Strikers ‘A’ and Blazing Divas ‘B’ at 4:30 p.m. All Stars U12 have a bye this weekend.

When the youngsters finish, they make way for the senior women, who’ll play under the lights.

Blue Diamonds, which sit in third place, face Cayman U16 girls at 6:45 p.m. on court 1, while second-placed Rising Starts ‘A’ play All Stars ‘B’, who are two places back in the standings. At 8:00 p.m., top-ranked All Stars ‘A’, who have been dominant in their first two games, play winless Unity Flames on Court 1.

On Thursday, 19 January, Queens play Socialites, while Unity meet Cayman 16. Both games are scheduled for 6:45 p.m. at Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

The Under-14 Girls’ League begins in February.
